WelcomeA little about myself.....I am a native of Traverse City, Michigan. I moved to Tennessee in 1991 and attended school in Murfreesboro. I am a proud graduate of our very own Holloway High School. After graduating in 2000, I attended Middle Tennessee State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Education in 2004. I continued with my school work to obtain a Masters in Business Education and an Educational Specialist Degree both from Middle Tennessee State University. I completed my Doctorate of Education degree from Tennessee State University in 2012.
I began my career working at Central Middle School from 2005-2009 as the Computer/Keyboarding Teacher and transferred to Holloway in August of 2009. I am very happy to be back at Holloway High School and giving back to the students just as I received so much from my education here. I am married and have four wonderful children. My ultimate aspiration in teaching is to provide necessary knowledge, encourage and develop critical thinking skills, and encourage natural curiosity that will guide students in their efforts of pursuing success. By accomplishing this, I will satisfy the need within myself to somehow make a difference. My main responsibility as an instructor is to create connections which cultivate interest and understanding for individual students. At Holloway High School we believe all students can learn at high levels. |
